Main Duties The Customer Service Representative plays a key front-line role in ensuring that customers enjoy doing business with us.
In this role, you will be managing accounts through reactive and proactive telephone contact and email to maintain and grow sales as well as provide commercial and technical support to customers.
You will perform, execute, and coordinate all work including technical matters related to customer service activities.
This position report to the Inside Sales Manager.
Main duties and responsibilities Assist customer with their quote requests and orders placed Liaise with the sales and technical department as required to ensure customers get answers quick Assist customers with accurate transactions and industry specific product information.
Provide recommendations and technical assistance.
Actively learn about the industry and products we manufacture in order to offer best service Utilize telephone sales and support skills to create interest and offer value-added products and services to customers.
Build and expand customer relationships and help ensure replacement and increased business.
Meet or exceed departmental KPI requirements.
Process RGAs credits and complaints as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Some experience in a similar role in the conveyor belting industry preferred.
Minimum two years of previous business to business customer service experience.
Associates degree or equivalent or equivalent education and experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong mathematical and technical aptitude.
Team player who can work independently.
Experience with a CRM or ERP System (SAP preferred), order management and a call center environment.
Knowledge of Excel and Word software.
Understanding part numbers, policies and products.
Compliance in price policies, discount structures and fees.
Must be able to work in the US.
